Ranbir Marwa Appointed Lincoln City Performance Academy Head Coach

We are delighted to welcome Ram who brings a wealth of football experience as a former professional, having represented Charlton Athletic, Leyton Orient and Dagenham & Redbridge as a player.

Ram has 25 years of football experience as well as coaching internationally and is a former coach with Premier League giants Arsenal Football Club. Academy Director Jamie Strong said “Ram epitomises the best qualities of a modern coach: leadership skills, intelligence, experience and a hunger for individual and collective improvement. We see this as a reflection on the Academy as a whole, an environment where all have a pathway to progression and self-improvement. Ram stated 'I am delighted to be working with the next generation of elite players. I am committed to inspiring and coaching players to be the best they can be. Drawing on my 25 years experience as a football player, I am able to get the best out of players – physically and mentally and put all my experience in to give the Academy players the best possible shot of a career in football'

Ram will also work collaboratively on the Lincoln City Performance syllabus to support the player pathway.
