Creating the future with our Business Enterprise Hub

We are proud to announce our new student-athlete business enterprise hub. The academy will deliver an optional enterprise skills programme alongside our student-athletes full time programme.

The Business Enterprise Hub offers a range of innovative services and coaching to promote social change through a pioneering one stop shop to inspire the next generation of student-athlete entrepreneurs.

The unique business programme consists of bespoke coaching developed in partnership with revolutionary entrepreneurs.

Services include:

  • Early stage enterprise support

  • Access to skills and business support programmes

  • Global entrepreneurial masterclasses

  • Development of social enterprise projects

  • Virtual advocacy

  • Business support services via key business partners

The Enterprise Hub will act as a catalyst to support innovation and a diverse range of new businesses with the potential to develop in national and international markets. ASE Ambassador Phil Ridgwell commented ‘We already know athletes have outstanding potential to become successful in business. In their sporting careers, they acquire extraordinary skills that are transferrable to entrepreneurial success.

The enterprise focus will be on the individual, developing entrepreneurial mindsets and behaviours to enable acceleration and growth with virtual support, advice and guidance around issues such as developing quality business plans; investor readiness; understanding responsibilities, finance and the impact of business decisions’

This project aims to take a fresh, creative and collaborative approach to business support and key to the programme are our team of in-house advisors and business coaches who between them have a wealth of skills and commercial experience at senior levels, nationally and internationally across a diverse range of industry sectors.

These highly qualified business coaches and specialist mentors will also provide our aspiring business people with a mix of one-to-one sessions, ongoing workshops and peer-to-peer support.
