Our Mission

ASE’s vision is clear, to create an environment for 16-19-year-olds to progress within both sports and education surrounded by first class facilities and resources.

 

We wanted to stop talented youth from falling through the net and give them a second chance to progress their talent with top quality coaching and education.

ASE offers further education institutions an unparalleled opportunity to provide its cohort with range of quality assured, resourced qualifications that form part of an individualized study program.

 

ASE strongly believes that all learners, regardless of gender, socio-economic background and academic stature, should have the opportunity to progress in higher education & employment.

 

A number of students have progressed from our outstanding programme to degree courses in teaching, Sport Science and Coaching. Some have gained full-time professional contracts.

 

The prospect of welcoming students from all corners of the UK and integrating them with local youngsters is very exciting and mutually beneficial in terms of academic, social and sporting development. That’s what the academy is about, bringing people together to realise personal aspirations and to achieve incredible outcomes.

 

The ‘ASE way’ is a clear way of doing things which sets us apart from other academies.

 

The value of hard work and togetherness, capacity to overcome difficulties and above all the principles of fair play and dignified behaviour are paramount.

 

We believe we have a responsibility for the all-round education of young people as we prepare them not only for life in sport but life after it.
